Found Poem in U.S.S. Newport News Guest Book

Do any of you know Stanley Pilot
who died in T-2 that night?
He was a good friend
and as a matter of fact
he was the one who taught me
how to play football.
No one would tell me much until now.
I was 13 when he died. I am 44 now
and a veteran myself.
I have found his name on the wall.
Please any information from some one
who knew him would be
gratefully accepted.
